The Advanced Text Enhancement function improves legibility and OCR quality of scanned images, even when the original texts are faint or faded. Scanning and storage performances are optimized with automatic paper size detection and the DR-2020U supports business cards to A4-size paper. In fact, the DR-2020U comes with a dedicated business card feeder that takes up to 15 business cards. The DR-2020U scans up to 40ipm (black & white) and 20ipm (color) in 200dpi duplex mode in a single pass.
Canon’s proprietary application, CapturePerfect®, allows users to create searchable and encrypted PDF files, making it possible for all scanned documents to be filed (stored), searched and retrieved with ease. Encryption ensures that document contents are kept highly confidential. To make using the DR2020-U a breeze, the DR-2020U comes bundled with ADOBE® ACROBAT STANDARD, PaperPort®, OmniPage® and BizCard®.
