PERICOM'S CUSTOMER, NANYANG POLYTECHNIC, BAGS PRESTIGIOUS 4TH ANNUAL INTELLIGENT20 AWARD

Implementation of Ultimus workflow at NYP recognized for its use of infocomm-related technologies to drive new levels of operational excellence, customer service, and innovation.

Singapore, Feb 10, 2004 - Pericom Imaging (S) Pte Ltd, the market leader in enterprise document imaging solutions today announced that its implementation of Ultimus workflow for Nanyang Polytechnic had won the Poly the coveted Intelligent20 Award for 2003 earlier in January. Nanyang Polytechnic is the only tertiary educational institution among the 20 Asia-Pacific winning companies to have been so recognized at the 4th Annual Intelligent20 Award for its use of infocomm-related technologies to drive new levels of operational excellence, customer service and innovation.

The winning project, is a web-based work-flow system to e-services the business processes in NYP, and to improve service level and enhance productivity. The business processes include Estate Management (EM) Fault reporting, tracking and analysis (>1200 transactions per month), Stationery Request (330 per month), Desktop Change Form (60 per month), Request for Database Update (40 per month) and other business processes.
